ProfessorShenwillgiveusatalkontravellinginAmerica.
Youarewrongonalltheseissues. Thebeliefisbasedonpracticalexperience.
Theorymustbebasedonpractice. Thepeopleinthesouthliveonrice.
Youcan‘taffordluxuries,onanincomeof100yuanamonth.
Herpetdogswerefedonthechoicestfood. Heisjustascrounger,wholivesonotherpeople.
Keepthekettleontheboil(=boiling)。 Theenemyareontherun(=running)。
Theworkersoftherailwaystationwereonstrike. GrapesandbigwatermelonsfromSinkiangareonsaleonalargesale.
I,me,my(mine),/we,us,our(ours)/he,him,his(his)/she,her,her(hers)/they,them,their(theirs)/you,you,your(yours)/it,it,its(its)这里就不详细讲解了。
Comeifyouliketosee______painting.______verybeautiful.A.your/That"sB.her"s/It"sC.hers/That"sD.his/It"s
解题思路:根据形式和上述使用原则,B(形式错误),C(hers只能单独使用),故是错的。
Mywifeboughtme______ata______shop.A.apieceofclothes/tailorsB.anewclothing/tailor
C.anarticleofclothing,tailor"sD.apieceofclothing,tailor"s
→Theboss(himself)wantedtohaveatalkwithherherself.
ofone"sown/tooneself如:Shewantstohavearoomofherown(toherself)(她想要一间属于自己的房间。)

31.Whatisthemainideaofthispassage?
A.DNAtestinghaschangedtheAmericanlegalsystem.B.DNAtestinghashelpedinnocentmengofreeinIllinois.C.DNAtestingusesgeneticstoidentifyaperson.
D.DNAtestinghasplayedakeyroleincriminalinvestigation.【分析】这道题考查主旨大意,采用查读、归纳法技巧。
AndwiththecarefuluseofDNAtesting,noinnocentpersonshouldeverbeconvictedagain. 32.DNAtestingwasfirstusedinacriminalcasebyA.alawyerinNewYorkB.studentsinIllinoisC.doctorsintheUnitedStatesD.policeinGreatBritain【分析】这道题采用查读法技巧。
33.TheinnocenceprojectusesDNAtestingtoA.setfreeinnocentprisoner
B.helpthepoliceputpeopleinprisonC.findoutwhichlawyerareincompetentD.provethatsuspectsareguilty【
Theycreatedaorganizationcalledtheinnocenceproject.
34.SomestudentsinNorthwesternUniversityA.provedsomeprisonerswerenotguilty
B.believedsomesuspectswerefromethnicgroups
C.toldthegovernorsofIllinoisnottofreetheprisonersD.showedDNAtestingwasnotalwaysreliable【
Thestudents(atNorthwesternUniversity)provedthatinfacttheprisonerswerenotguiltyofthecrimetheyhadbeenaccusedof.
35.Whatistheauthor"sattitudetowardDNAtesting?A.NegativeB.PositiveC.SuspiciousD.Indifferent

Maria,however,wantedtoattendatechnicalschool.
37.Inthosedays,mostItaliangirls______.A.didnotgotoprimaryschoolB.didnotgotohighschoolC.wentto"finishing"schoolsD.wenttotechnicalschools【分析】这道题采用查读法。
38.Maria"sfatherprobably______.A.hadatraditionalviewsaboutwomenB.hadamodemviewaboutwomenC.hadnoopinionaboutwomen
D.thoughtwomencouldnotlearnLatin【分析】这道题采用查读法。
Most
people---includingMaria"sfather---believedthatgirlswouldneverbeabletounderstandthesesubjects.
A。39.HighschoolteachersinItalyinthosedayswerevery______.A.flexibleB.strictC.intelligentD.kind
Teacherswereverydemanding,disciplineintheclassroomwasstrict,andpunishmentwassevereforthosewhofailedtoachieveorweredisobedient. 40.WecaninferfromthispassagethatA.Maria"sparentslikedherpersonalityB.Maria"smotherpaidforhereducationC.Mariawasagirlofstrongwill
D.Mariagaveinunderherfather"spressure.【分析】这道题采用查读法。

customs(保持传统和风俗)于原文是一致的,所以本题的正确答案为D选项。
43.AcountryshowsitsprogresswithGNPbyA.sellingmoreproducts.B.spendingmoremoney.C.spendinglessmoney.D.providingmorejobs.【
HesawthatmostcountriesmeasuredtheirprogressbytheirGrossNatonalProduct(GNP)。TheGNPmeasuresproductsandmoney.Whenthenumberofproductssoldincreasespeoplesaythecountryismakingprogress. 44.AccordingtoGNH,peoplearehappieriftheyA.havenewtecnology.B.canchangetheirreligion.C.haveagood,stablegovernment.D.havemoremoney.

第二步:根据信息词及顺序出题原则,我们接下来将信息词回归到原文中的后半部分,尤其是倒数第二段:ManycountriesarenowinterestedinBhutan"sGNH.Thesecountriesareinvestigatingtheirownwaystomeasurehappiness.Theywanttocreatenewpoliciesthattakecareoftheirpeople,cultures,andland.
